Shooting Star – The Axial III Plasma Torch

The Axial III is a professional three-cathode plasma torch with axial powder injection designed for wattages of 30 to 150 kW. Argon mixes of nitrogen and hydrogen and pure hydrogen with an arc pressure of up to 4 bars are used as plasma gas. The powder is axially injected into the plasma beam, while the beam transporting the powder is focused by a plasma nozzle. The Axial III guarantees excellent coating results, combined with a high application efficiency.

The Axial III ID internal spraying torch, a capacity of up to 135 kW, is an ideal tool for the coating of component parts with complex geometries and of tubes with a diameter of 335mm minimum and. The temperature-sensitive component parts are protected by a metal casing.
